  adobe bridge is not installed?

  I had to reinstall after effects after a buggy moment and now whenever i choose effect presets i get an after effect warning box ‘ Adobe Bridge is not installed. Please install it to use this feature’
  I do have bridge and it works nicely! has anyone any suggestions how I can try to resolve this ?
