Adobe Bridge effects in Premier Pro?
Hi
I don’t seem to be able to place Bridge effects, like text animations, in Premier Pro like I can in AFX – There’s no “Place in Premier Pro” command that I can see for example.
I’m sure it’s possible and I’m just being dense! Anyone know how to do this?

Text animation presets are only for After Effects.

Well, if Premiere could do everything AE does, we probably wouldn’t need AE 🙂
You certainly can do a dynamic link, but if you start working with text effects in AE, you’ll quickly see why it just wouldn’t be manageable in Premiere.

Of course you’re right – just getting into dynamic linking which seems pretty useful. Fairly new to Premier although been an AFX user for a long time. I’d quite like to see a combo app one day that combines the two.

You can do editing and effects with a Quantel iQ or with an Autodesk Smoke. If you have the money and time for it of course.
