  Adobe audition select method

  Hello, I would like to ask something.

  I would like to know the Adobe Audition does contain a similar select methon like the photoshop magic wand?

  I have a voice record, and I would like to delete parts from the file when the speaker is not speaking. My idea is if I select a sample (for example a 0.5 sec “silence” what is not silence just there is no any speak) and after I say select similar, the program search the similar parts in the file and select (of course need some setting for the treshold).

  So maybe someone knows it is possible or not with the Adobe Audition program.
