Adobe Audition not launching; Creating Audition Interchange Folder/Wav Files
Hello Everyone,
I hope all is well.
For some reason when I launch Audition I am not able to select “clip” just “sequence”. Even if I am looking to work on one specific clip. When I select sequence it takes me to the codec box, for lack of a better gateway to call it, and then it creates an Audition Interchange folder in the pathway I select and the files are converted into wav files.
Why isn’t Audition launching so I can work on the audio? Are my settings off?

Are you launching Audition independently (from its own icon) or through Premiere Pro, right-clicking media or a bin item?
Also, let us know more about your version of Adobe products, computer, OS, etc.
System:
Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
Win 7 64-bit
32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
