  Adobe Audition CS3 Midi issues

  Having a few problems with a midi file I have imported into Audition CS3. It seems to play fine in other players(FL Studio 10 and Windows Media Player) but when I try in Audition it just plays the wrong noises -basically nonsense.

  I know very little about midi but felt I had set it up correctly.
  I tried all 3 suggested vst’s but made no difference.

  Any help you coould offer would be greatly appreciated.
  (Using Windows XP with basic soundcard)
