I’m doing a 3d camera track on my footage in After Effects cs6 but after the program analyzes the background it only comes back with a couple track points. How do I increase the track points to get a better target area to insert my 3D text???

There is a “more detail” you can check that will result in a longer analysis. Another thing is to precomp your video and in the precomp increase the contrast(might help a little). Now track the precomp.

Can you upload a picture of what you are trying to track, might give people more ideas to suggest.
