For the very few of you who ever even noticed that the link to reset your account cookies was temporarily offline, this is to let you know that it’s fixed.

For the rest of you, this is to let you know that the button exists. And here comes the tutorial…

If you look at the green box (see below) for making a post, you will see a line or two of text (depending on your screen sizes) below the boxes where you fill in your screen names and e-mails, and above the buttons to change your E-Mail notification status. Right in the middle of it, is a hyperlink on the word “here”. If you click on it, you can use the form it shows you to set the cookies that keep your name and e-mail filled in, along with your viewing preference for thread, date or summary views, and whether or not to automatically attach your message signature when you respond to a post.

Also, while we’re on the subject of little lines of text in the posting box, you’ll notice another line of text at the very bottom of the box, which contains a link to the Creative Cow’s Code of Conduct. This is a page that may explain why some posts that you make are never displayed in the forums. You might want to read over it to get a better idea of what is and is not acceptable in the Cow.
