  Has anyone ever experienced this…

  adm_dio_error_occurred, DIOerr:Flamethrower timeout: Transmit request timed out 200.201000 milliseconds

  or know how to fix it? I tried avid’s support forums…but no one seemed to know why it was happening, or what i could do to fix it. I think it may have something to do with the fact that my project is on a firewire drive, and im trying to output to a deck that is also plugged in firewire? This message occurs when trying to digital cut. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  My system:
  hp 8200 dual 3.6
  4 gig ram
  500 gig hd
  250 gig external drive
  avid xpress pro 5.21
  jvc s-dv3
