adjustments layer problem

Hi Payman, if you look at the top of the panel you can see a row of icons, select the second one in from the end – the half white circle. (This can turn any layer into an adjustment layer.)

tnx greg for your reply.but if you notice to layer,you will see that the front of adjustment layer is not check able.
when i make a solid layer on top,the icon place appear then i can select it as a solid or adjustment layer,but when i make a layer on top the other layer the iicon place with a half white circle disappear,

The layer below (2) is trying to use the adjustment layer as a matte(you can’t have both). Change that (or put something in between) and you should see things as you’re expecting.

you are true,the trkmat when is on (alpha matt) will refer to upper layer as a solid or something inside.when the layer is adjustment layer (and there is nothing inside) and on layer below trkmat is referring on alpha the logic of after effects changes the adjustment layer to solid.
