Hello again :p sorry for being so needy of help…I ran into another issue and no matter how time I spent looking on the internet for an answer I could not find it!
I have several layers in my photoshop file. I import them into after effects but the adjustment layers (hue/saturation and curves) don’t show!! they look like one solid layer (I forgot if black or white…) and to see through I have to switch them off.
Is there a way to import my adjustment layers!!?? I also tried to just make new adjustment layers in AE copying over the values. This works for the Hue and Saturation ones which have numbers as values, but I can’t do this with the Curves adjustment layers! Is there a way to see the numeric values of those layers so that I can copy them over?

Thank you so much for your time
    I really appreciate your help
    🙂

What versions of After Effects and Photoshop are you using?

After Effects CS3 and CS4 each contain a complete version of the Photoshop rendering system inside it, so adjustment layers (and almost everything else) should come across.

For a list of things that transfer over, see “Preparing and importing Photoshop files”.

I have CS4. I actually tried to just recreate the adjustment layers directly in After Effects. The problems are the CURVES!!!! I could find a way to visualize them as number (and not graph) in Photoshop so that I could copy the values over in After Effect…
    thank you though 🙂
