Adjusting Volume on several segments at once.
Hi Folks,
Is there a way to adjust volume on several segments at once (while still keeping their db relationships. i.e. segment A is at +3db , segment B is at -1db and segment C is at 0db THEN I want to raise them up all by +3db. So they end up at: A +6db, B +2db and C +3db.
I know I can do this on FCP using “Control [” but I’m not sure if Avid can do this.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hey Trevor, you can do this using the “adjust pan/vol on tracks – in/out” command in the hamburger menu on the top right of the audio mixer tool. You can map the command to a keyboard shortcut, although I believe in older versions of Media Composer this wasn’t possible. If you don’t have an in/out set in the timeline, I believe the change will affect the entire selected track(s).
