Adjusting video dissolve but not the audio dissolve?

This USED TO FREAKIN WORK. Hate to scream, but some basic things to the interface have changed in FCP 6 in the worst way.

Option Drag should override Shift L in EVERY instance. It used to. It does not now. This is broken.

I haven’t ever used Shift L, nor should I have to. I’ve found that even locking doesn’t override Linked Selection.
