  • Adjusting the Master Gain in FCP 5.0?

Since working with FCP 5.0 for the past few weeks, everything has been going ok, but one dumb thing. How do you adjust the master gain levels in the capture window before capturing? My controls are greyed out, so I can control it. What’s the deal?

I meant that I CAN’T adjust it because the controls are greyed out.

DV doesn’t support this feature since it’s essentially a file transfer. Beyond that, support for the feature is up to your capture card. Most don’t seem to support it.
