  • Adjusting the Anchor point in FCP.

When you adjust the anchor point in the montion tab or drag it with the distort tool. That only effect the rotations in the montion tab.

Is there a way to adjust the anchor point for a Basic 3D filter.

I want to make a page turn like it in bound to the spine of a book.

    Thanks

    I’m afraid you can’t.

That is really stupid. I can’t believe Apple would not make possible.

I know there is a way to make recommendations to Apple for future updates, but I’m not exactly sure how to go about it.

Also I’m guessing that there is no way at all (in the motion tab or anywhere else) to adjust the Z axis, so an object will rotat infront or inback of its center point.

    Thanks for the answers.

I’m not in front of FCP, but I’m pretty sure you can pick a “center point” for the Page Turn. I know you can in the Boris BCC filters. So you can make the center point of the page turn one corner of the screen or an edge of the screen to get the effect you want.

its just the way the Basic 3D filter is coded. You can do this just fine with my hacked version here: https://homepage.mac.com/andymees
