    Hi,
I have been using this brilliant tutorial to create a similar effect that he creates for the falling snow, however I am using a different image without the rotations, just a simple fall.

The images I am using though are longer than his snow images, and also I have adjusted the comp size to 1024 x 768 instead of the smaller size he uses.

The problem with adjusting the comp size is that the objects now start on screen. I have adjusted their anchor points to the base of the image but they are still on screen in my larger sized compostion.

Being a complete novice at expressions what I would like to know is, is there a way of adjusting the Y axis position value for my images so that they start off screen?

I tried just adjusting the Y position value which did not work, and I’m guessing that is because that is used in the expression?

Any help on how I could get my images to start off screen would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Martin

I solved the problem by just moving the camera closer.
