  adjusting brush spacings

  Hi, I swear I’ve done this in the past but am having trouble figuring it out today. I basically just want to adjust the frequency at which my brush drops a pattern.

  I’ve made a custom brush of a footprint, and rather than smear it as a continous/solid line, I’d like to click and drag and have a set amount of space occur between each brush stroke dropped. I’d rather not click once, move over, click again which is what I’m doing at the moment.

  I’ve been looking in the brush palette with all the option like ‘scatter’ & ‘shape dynamics’, but I can’t figure out which one controls the spacing.
