Adjust Volumes/DB Level of Audio Tracks in Bulk

Hmm. Ok thank you for the help.

More specifically this is our music library for a production company. The editors load this project to add tracks to their projects but all the tracks tend to be too loud for their mixes so we default them to -12 db.

So any other suggestions for ways to do this would be most appreciated. Thank you!

You can maybe try batch process them in Compressor or MPEGStreamclip with the -xdb variable.

Sorry I’m late on this but the solution I’ve been using is to:

-create new bin.

-go to your bin with audio files and select all files you want to adjust volume to.

-drag onto an empty timeline.

-copy/paste audio attributes, pan etc to all audio clips on timeline.

-select all clips in timeline and drag them into the new bin.

-rename bin and have a snack. : )
