  • Adjust perspective of text – tracking into a video

I’m adding text to a blank chalkboard in a video. The camera pans so i need to track it in but also need to adjust the perspective. I’ve looked under Layer>Transform>Perspective and messed with the Effect>Transform>Perspective but I can’t figure a way to move the anchor points separately … Any advice?

I made it work by just rotating the text a bit and it looks ok – but really would like to know how to adjust perspective – one anchor point at a time. Is anybody out there?

Did you use the 3D Camera Tracker? If you have a camera and have your text set as a 3D layer, its perspective or angle should change automatically as the camera moves.

I’m not sure what you mean about the anchor points.

Mocha would probably be ideal for this. What version of AE are you using? It comes free with any of the recent versions.

If you have a really old AE, you can use the standard corner pin tracker.
