Posted by Andrei Bocharnikov on March 26, 2009 at 10:45 amHi,

March 26, 2009 at 11:17 amYou just need to buy two more copies of FCS. You cannot buy separate licenses, not in small numbers.
All the best,
Tom

March 26, 2009 at 1:22 pmdifficult to beleive… they must have at least some kind of family or studio type of license when you allowed to run FCP on several Macs on one network of editing studio.

March 26, 2009 at 7:19 pmThey don’t sell multiple licenses. They do sell a multiseat license. They’re licenses with one serial number for multiple machines. This allows the computers to be built on a single disk, which us then pushed onto multiple machines. I believe the minimum number of seats for this type of license is 12. There isn’t much demand for family packs of FCS.
All the best,
Tom

March 26, 2009 at 8:37 pmTom, thank you for your reply again.
Could you kindly tell me where I can buy such kind of a license or at least more info about installing and using such thing. I googled for that but cant find anything. Only thing I found on another forum is message from Mr. Noah Kadner: “Acquiring a volume license is the way to go if you have more than one machine in use at once.”… same thing – can not find where to buy that kind of license.

March 26, 2009 at 8:50 pmYou have to call Apple to get a multiseat license. You can install on multiple machines and load the same license number or each. Or built a disk image with an OS and software and then clone that disk image to multiple machines.
All the best,
Tom
