I have an image that I want to add some random bulging to.

Simple, I thought, Just set 2 different keyframes and then set the wiggler on them to add the randomness.

    No.

No matter what I do I cannot seem to get the wiggler to introduce random keyframes, even though they are added to the track, the behavior is the same.

I’m simply setting 2 keyframes to the bulge center parameter over a couple of seconds.

I’ve tested it on other elements of the clip and it’s working as expected, but just not on the bulge filter.

    Any clue?

Take out the keyframes and add a quick expression by alt clicking on the stopwatch next to the paramiter that you want to be random, being the horizontal, verical, or height.

    wiggle(.25,50)

by adding this, every .25 sec the generate a variable of 50. These numbers can be changed of course depending on the speed/amount you want this to move.
