Adding Voiceover audio via camera – How?
Have a new xf100 and a new macbook pro. How do I use the voiceover function?
My camera has USB, HDMI and AV 3.5 terminal out. My mac book has USB, thunderbolt and 3.5 in.I have tried connecting USB but FCP X does not recognise my cam. Someone suggested 3.5 to 3.5 but I question the quality
any suggestions? Can’t seem to find any hdmi to thunderbolt cables for anything other than tvs/monitors

USB is data only.
Matrox MXOMini should provide HDMI to Thunderbolt very soon. They’re already showing the adaptor so it should be a few weeks at most. If they don’t change the price it’ll probably be around $449.
