Hi there, I am looking to add a time code and / frame# into a video file for the purpose of having a website read it so that when we scroll downward, the video plays in accordance with the user’s scrolling (Just to clarify I do not mean baking in these things into the visible video, rather including it in the file’s metadata(?)). I understand that many have used FFmpeg to achieve this, however I have no idea how to use that…

To further clarify: here is a video example of something that holds this aspect and works within this scrolling format, but does not work with other videos I try. I’ve also attached a screenshot of how in the ‘get info’ dialogue, we see ‘time code’ in place of audio codecs..

I wonder if there is any simpler way of acheiving this than FFmpeg?

Any information here will help greatly, and let me know if this has been posted in the wrong place.

    Thank you in advance.
