Adding SWF to Vegas Pro 13 Timeline
Hi,
Now I don’t wish to tread on anybody’s feet with this one and ask the forum moderator to delete this post if it in any way offends anyone.
But have noticed that Sony Vegas 13 doesn’t seem to have ‘swf’ file import capabilities. My solution to this is very simple. If you have Sony Sound Forge Pro 11 on your system then copy the ‘swfplug’ folder and content ‘swfplug.dll’ file from the Sound Forge 11 directory ‘FileIO Plug-Ins’ folder over to the ‘File10 Plug-Ins’ folder in the ‘Vegas Pro 13’.
Now that Sony Vegas Pro 13 has swf file import capabilities, make sure that any exported ‘swf’ file is composed of shapes only – this means you will have to ensure that any text is converted to shapes.
