Adding sparkle effect to wedding ring still (in wedding video)
Hello!
I am editing a wedding video (my first ever!) & would like to make a still of the wedding ring sparkle.
I want to fade in (& out) a sparkle to draw attention to the ring. I use Vegas 6.
Do I need any additional plugins (I have Pixelan’s Creativease already, but haven’t had any luck making sparkles with it), or is there some fairly straightforward way of doing it in vegas?
Would appreciate your suggestions!

You can try experimenting with the Lens Flare FX.
Add 2 or 3 (or more) of them and play with key frames, positioning, intensity and colour to make it interesting. -

For real sparkles you’ll need a standalone program.

Thanks very much guys! I will do some experimenting as suggested, but also look at some stand alone products to achieve a ‘proper’ sparkle.
