Adding pulldown?
Traditionally, I’ve done this with either Compressor or After Effects and have yielded good results. I was wondering if there was a way to do this with Premiere and AME on export? Since FCP 7 was horrible at this, I was wondering if Premiere was any better. I do have a BMD Decklink Studio 2 but nothing to output to. And digital file is my only option at this point.
OSX 10.7.5 with a 3.39 Ghz Intel Core i7 on a built up Hackintosh
16 GB of RAM with OSX on SSD, (2) internal HDDs RAID’d 1 for project files and External RAID 5 for all project assets (media, GFX, stills, etc.) -

If a 23.976 or 24 fps timeline is exported as an interlaced 29.97 file then simple pulldown should be added automatically by Premiere/AME.
I’ve tested it and looked at the pulldown cadence.

Thanks Angelo. I’ve just tested this too and it appears to be ok. Next I’ll test it on my FSI monitor, as soon as its gets here.
