  • Adding Photo shop effects to several frames at once?

Posted by Erock99 on July 20, 2007 at 1:12 pm

I exported (from AE) a huge amount of video converted into PNG stills
so that I can mess with them in PHOTOSHOP and then reimport into a AE video sequence.

My question is — is there a way in Photo Shop to add effects to several still pictures at once?

without having to go to each still file and open and physically tweak it — (i have over 1500 stills that I need to add a paint daub effect to)

    thanks

    Hi
There’s really no way to do several frames at once since they are in fact different files. What you could do is set up an action so you can open the files, add the paint daub effect, and then resave the file and close it. This will at least make it much faster, especially if the paint daub won’t move on the image sequence. HTH

Photoshop CS3 Extended (and maybe the normal version, but I don’t think so) allows you to edit movies/image sequences as a single file. You still have to go forward and back a frame at a time, but it makes things much easier.
