  • adding PA 4.0.2 as a plug-in to AfterEffects

It has been awhile since I did this and it doesn’t seem to be listed as a FAQ on the Zaxwerks site.

How do I add it as a plugin?

Last question. I seem to have an old folder of 3.x PA…can I delete the file?

    Thanks, -bill

    Bill,

You can drag the entire PA folder and all of its subfolders into the Plug-ins folder inside your After Effects folder. Keep the folder heierarchy the way it is now.

From there, I’ve added an alias to my dock (I’m on a Mac) for quick and easy access to the standalone version.

You shouldn’t need the 3.x folder or contents unless you’ve stored some perrsonal libraries or objects in there.

    Jon
