Adding numbers to source/record with MacBook Pro generates error
I working on Avid MC 6.0.1
When I type “CTL, CTL” a number entry window pops up in either record or source monitor. That’s good.The problem is that I can’t use the + sign to add positive numbers. When I do this, I get an error sound and nothing happens. Using the minus sign works fine, and the marker moves backwards.
I don’t have anything mapped to the plus key. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Jeff,
So do you think Avid is aware of this? I assume it is a bug with MC 6.0.1 when using the 15 inch MacBook Pro.
I’m also not able to add keyframes to audio tracks, and I’ve got clip gain and volume checked, and I’ve got the keyframe icon activated in the timeline window. Have you had any trouble with that, or is it just me?

I also can’t type the + sign on my 17″ MacBook Pro, MC6.0.1 – it was the same on MC6. But I can type it on the number pad of an external keyboard – but again not on the main keyboard. Very odd.
I don’t have a problem with adding audio keyframes. You have selected your tracks I assume.

No, those work fine – could you have the “per track” settings wrong (in the timeline fast menu/audio?) Make sure the track is active (live) too.
As for the 2x control key, I think they know (or they do now!)
