  • Adding noise/random effector to different spline paths in null object

    Hello everyone,

I’m fairly new to C4D so please bear with me if I’m not articulating myself perfectly with the terminology, but I’ll provide images for more context as well.

Basically I took a vector object from Illustrator (a text logo) and then merged it into the C4D project, and extruded it. So now it’s an extrusion with the null object as a child and many spline paths.

I was able to add a random effector to the extrusion, but my goal is to randomize all the different parts of the overall object so that they kind of sway back and forth individually along their respective z-indices and not the whole object at once.

I attempted some Google searches and saw some stuff that suggested putting the individual paths inside a Cloner, but I can’t really make sense of that.

Any help would be appreciated. Scene file and images attached. Thanks!

Attaching a file just created this link, the scene file should be here: https://f1.creativecow.net/14091/14091
