Adding new clip in existing project
Hi,
I am creating a video of my vacation in New york. I am now putting, cutting and editing my vids of day 4 but now i want to add a movie off day 1 and need it to place somewhere in the beginning of the project.
now my question is, how can I insert the vid without mixing the audio/video/effects of all the content behind it? Because once i put it in I have to my the content and everything gets mixed up.

Turn ON auto ripple and select all tracks and events from the drop down. PLace your curser whereyou want to insert the new video. Select all (Edit menu). Press S (split). Then drop your new video at the split location. It will be insert edited at that point and everything else will be moved down behind it.

Oh, and you might want to turtn off auto ripple after you have finished. It can create havoc when you don’t remember it is on.
