  • Adding multiple dissolves of the same length to your sequence

Hi. I have a ten long sequence with 50 different clips strung out cut together and I want to add a one second dissolve between all of them, is it possible to do all at once in one step or do I have to individually go between my sequence and effects folder and drag each dissolve in one at a time to add them?

Thanks for any help in advance.

    To add Multiple Transitions:

Create the transition you want and make it your “Default Transition”.
(You can change the default by control clicking on it in the fx tab.)

Range Select (Select All of) your clips on the timeline (ON THE TIMELINE).

Drag this selection (yes, the TIMELINE selection) (drag ITSELF back) into the Canvas

Perfect. Thanks so much, Matte. It was so quick too.
