  • Adding MArker on the timeline or in the source panel

    Hello

Question about adding markers to either the timeline or in the source panel: I have read on a tutorial that pressing Alt/option and clicking on the marker, it will split the marker into two, which will allow to stretch its length for the duration needed. I have tried and tried this, but it doesn’t work. The only way I can get the marker to “stretch” is going in the Markers window and change the out point, but that’s a bit of a drag… Does any one know another way to split the marker?

    Thanks

    Hi Mark,
Which version of Premiere Pro are you using? This is a Premiere Pro CC feature and won’t work with Premiere Pro CS6.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

I’m sure the tutorial I’ve watched was saying CS6 – which is what I’m using – but they must have got it wrong.. Shame then..
    Thanks anyway!

Can you point me to the tutorial?

Hi, I’ve double checked and I got it wrong, sorry! I had googled premiere pro CS6 and somehow remembered the tutorial referring to CS6 instead of CC..
