How could I instead of using an image for the background use a movie.

For example a man walking around the hills with sheep moving on the hills.

So the man would be infront of one hill but behind another?

any ideas im new to this.
    thanks.

The layers must have their 3D boxes checked, then given slightly different Z-positions. It’s in the manual.

BTW, it’s good practice to make your own camera layer, not to use AE’s default camera … which can’t be animated and doesn’t show up in the timeline.
