Adding Keyframes to Audio
Posted by Ryan Atkins on June 17, 2008 at 6:14 pmHow do you add keyframes to audio on your timeline for fading it in and out? I’m working with Final Cut Pro 6.

June 17, 2008 at 8:49 pmTurn on the clip overlays in the lower left corner of the timeline window. Looks like a line graph. Then use the pen tool in the line that will appear in the audio clips in your sequence… raise and lower accordingly.

September 5, 2013 at 6:48 pmI have used the pen tool to do exactly this, but for some reason I am unable to get it to work right now. I know this is an easy problem to fix, but I have no idea how to fix it. Sorry for asking such a beginner question, but apparently I am out of practice on FCP. Can you please offer help? Thank you.
