First time posting on CC, long time user. Apologies for any bad forum etiquette.

I’ve just transitioned to AME after years of using Compressor for all of my archiving needs. One of my favorite features in compressor was the ability to add a suffix to the file name for every file that I transcoded. For instance, “Episode_101.mov” would automatically become “Episode_101_archive.mov” when I would use a custom compressor droplet.

Does Adobe Media Encoder support automatic file renaming aside from the default incremental number increase?

    Thanks

No, but it’s a good feature request.

You can submit feature requests here:

When submitting Adobe Media Encoder requests, choose the Premiere Pro product from the menu on the feature-request form.
