  • Adding depth to a flat image (3D?)

Posted by Geoff Roughface on April 2, 2010 at 9:05 pm

I’ve got a graphic for an event that I want to kind of rotate from side to side using the 3D camera. Doing this is easy and I’ve got that part down, but as you can imagine the the image is flat and it doesn’t look as cool as I want it to. Is there a way in AE or PS that I can had that depth to it so when it rotates the image has some depth?

    THanks guys

Here’s an After Effects Community Help search that brings up several ways. My favorite is the use of the Shatter effect.

Did you add a light in the 3d camera? Also may want to check out zaxworks.
