December 4, 2015 at 8:08 pmI have looked at MetaZ, but I don’t see a way to create custom fields. I can add data to the fields they provide, but I can’t create my own field.

December 5, 2015 at 1:52 pmOK. So it looks like mp4 fietype supports custom data fields via xmp metadata standard – see
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPEG-4_Part_14Looking at that showed up a possible approach – though a pay for
https://www.digitalconfidence.com/MetadataTouch-Supported.htmlAnother that might do it is Daminion

December 5, 2015 at 2:18 pmThanks Mike, These links are great and I will continue to explore. I really thought this would be easier to implement. I’m surprised there isn’t a way to add the fields in encoder.
