Adding comments to layers
Am slightly humbled for not knowing this, but can anyone tell me how to add visible comments to a layer without adding a timeline marker?

asterix on the numerical keypad, right click and go settings; comment

Right-click on the top of a column in the timeline, and add the “comments” column … ?

I would like to know how to access these comments programmatically. I can only seem to find information about accessing markers. *confused*
