  • Adding Chapters in DVDA?

How can I add additional chapters in DVDA so you can jump ahead when using a regular DVD player remote control?
That’s the only function I’m trying to gain.

    I’ve already rendered a 74 minute mpeg2 file in Vegas 8 pro.
I used the “single movie” option in DVDA.
I tried using “insert scene/chapter marker” and it seemed to create the chapters where I needed them.
I burned a new DVD but cannot skip to the next chapter.
I’m trying to avoid going back into Vegas, adding chapter points and re-rendering this video again.
    Thanks!

“I used the “single movie” option in DVDA.”

I don’t mean to doubt you but if you really this, you wouldn’t have been able to do “insert scene/chapter marker” so my guess is that it’s a menu-based DVD.

Adding chapter markers can be done in DVDA as well as Vegas.
To do it in DVDA, double-click on the program icon in the main window.
Click in the appropriate place on the timeline and press the M key (just like you do in Vegas) to add markers.
Remember to press the “Save Markers” icon above the DVDA timeline for future use.
