I must be missing something obvious but:

How do you add an animation preset to multiple selected layers at once?

When I select multiple layers in the timeline and drop the preset in, the preset is only applied to the layer that I was over when I released the mouse. When I drag into the comp window, the preset is only applied to the top layer.

I can always apply the preset to the one layer, hit shortcut UUU copy frames, select multiple layers and CTRL+V to paste…….but this IS After Effects right? Gotta be a better way……

Select the layers, then animation>apply animation preset.

    Thanks!

I’ll welcome that to my custom keyboard shortcuts!
