  Adding animated arrows to Highlight a person or subject

  Can someone please tell me how I can add animated arrows to highlight a person or an object. I am needing this effect for high school sports reels. I am using final cut pro hd 4.5 for editing. Do I need to use another program, and if so, what steps do I take in that program to get this effect?
