Adding an fx chain over other fx?
Is there any way to add a plug-in chain to a clip that already has some effects, without it replacing them? I have lots of plug-in chains saved for different colourings but if I add them to a clip that already has some effects (like cookie cutter) it will just replace them instead of adding to them. It drives me insane to have to redo all the keyframes and settings because of this!

I do not know if there is a way to force a plugin chain to append to what is there already but there is a workaround. Have a dummy event nearby and add the new chain you want to that. Right click and Copy the dummy and then “Paste Event Attributes” to your desired event. This will append the plugins instead of creating a new chain. It is a few unnecessary steps but maybe someone else knows of a switch to change the filter packages behavior.

Thanks!! I don’t know how I never thought of trying that. I just assumed it will still replace the effects when I paste.
