  • adding an expression to multiple layers…

hi, I wanted to add a simple wiggle expression on the rotation property to many layers, all the same expression “wiggle(5,10)” … I tried just pasting, but that didn’t work. I could copy a keyframe and the expression, but then the other layers got the keyframe info as well and that doesn’t work for me because all the elements already are at specific rotations I’d like them to wiggle from.

What version of AE do you have?

I think it was AE6.5 and up for this:

    Highlight the Property (Position?)
    Edit > Copy Expression Only
then Select the layer(s) you want to Paste the expression into,
    Paste

and it will put the expression on the correct property,
