  • Adding an effect (Color Corrector 3-way) to several clips in the timeline

    NEWBIE QUESTION #2:

Let’s say you have several similar clips that you have inserted into the timeline and wanted to apply an effect (in this case, Color Corrector 3-way) to everything at once (without nesting), so you would not have to adjust the settings individually for each clip.

    How would this be achieved?

I know there has to be a quicker method than me having to adjust the effect for each clip (with the same settings)…

Your help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks a lot in advance…

Think I found a suitable answwer and am posting to help others…

    Found a previous thread:
Applying an effect to all clips in FCP

In short, apply the desired effect to one clip, adjust it as you like, copy the clip and paste attributes to the other clips.

    Hope it helps!
