Adding a video counter/time stamp to existing video?
OK, I shot some footage and I want the clip to look like it came from a security camera….
I’ve already converted it from color to black and white and added some grain, but I’d like to add some sort of counter at the bottom of the screen…
Just a bunch of fast moving numbers at the bottom corner to give it a time lapse effect…
Is there an easy way to go about doing this?
It doesn’t have to be exact (YouTube spoof video)
I was thinking maybe some kinda premade animated gif file I could just slap on thebottom border perhaps…

Don’t forget to add the TV Simulator effect that is built into Vegas. This will really sell that it’s a TV monitor with interlacing lines and everything.

I’ve been using Vegas for years, but never ventured into the plug-in section until you mentioned it…
Wow, have I been missing out!!
I didn’t use them in the clip I was making last night (I just added a date and time using standard text), but i’ll definitely be playing around with it from now on….
