Hi all. Just a quick question regarding the use of swf objects in After Effects. It is my understanding that when creating the swf all items must be on the main timeline and AE will not see movie clips that are used. So far that stands true for me but I’m an AE newbie and want to check in with more experienced users. Can anyone confirm if this is accurate and if so why??

    Thanks moooooch

Ae can import SWF and it will be like any other video file – one layer. Ae can’t access the contents of the SWF file.
