I’ve got a clip (.MOV) of a rotating globe as viewed from space. I want to add a small, brief reflection/glint/star-shape as the sun hits a specific city. I’m using PP2, but don’t have AE. What’s the best way to do this?

    Thanks!

Try adding a Lens flare effect (render folder) and animating the scale and position of the light.

Thanks for the reply Mike, but I’m not following you. Just to reiterate, this is in PP 2.0 but I do NOT have After Effects.

Yes, Lens Flare is a PP 2 effect and the position and intensity parameters can be animated.

Bummer, looks like the lowest Brightness setting is 10%. I’d like to “flare” is from 0 to 100% and back to 0% in about a second.
