  • Adding a clip to timeline destroys rendered material

I did some grain reduction in After Effects . I rendered the 50 minute ch 1 video, but when I add an edit from another clip the rendering goes away.

Is there a work around? Peas say yes

    Many thanks.

Sounds like a job for the “Render and Replace” function.

If you are using Dynamic Link and did a preview render in PPro, then yes, it will go away when you add anything on top of that layer. You may want to render it in AE and bring in the rendered file.
