  • Adding a Avid codec into Final Cut Pro

    Hi all,
After some trouble working with a file downloaded from an FTP site I have been told to use an Avid codec in Final Cut. I now have the codec, but am not sure where to install it. Is bringing it in a quicktime folder suppose to work? (because it didn’t.)
    Thanks for the help!
    Matt

    Root hard drive>Library>Quicktime folder.

Place it in there and it should be available after a restart.
