    Hi folks,

I’ve got some lansdcape footage which I’ve been editing in Vegas. I want to create a 3D building and integrate it into the landscape.

Does anybody know if this can be done in Vegas or can you recommend any other methods?

    Cheers!

If you really mean 3D objects like the kind you would create in Maya or Cinema 4D, etc. you will need to buy Boris BLUE. It’s the only package I know that will work with real 3D objects and video. You could also do this with Photoshop CS4/CS5 and After Effects CS4/CS5. You can’t do this with Vegas alone.

    Hi JR,

Thanks very much- I’ve been checking out Boris Blue and the Adobe software. Looks like i’ll have to take the plunge. Looks like you can do some pretty impressive stuff.

Don’t really want to move away from Vegas though and go through the challenge of new software. Just lazy!

    Cheers
